Minimum Eligibility
Open Entry. No formal qualification is required from mature learners (over 21 years) who have relevant management experience. For others, the learners should have relevant NQF / QCF / RQF Level 3 Award / Diploma or at the level of GCE / GCSE or equivalent qualification. Please speak to the Admission Counsellors for waiver information.

What is the Entry Requirement?
For entry onto the OTHM Level 4 Diploma in Tourism and Hospitality Management qualification, learners must possess:
- Relevant NQF/QCF/RQF Level 3 Award/Diploma or at the level of GCE/GCSE or equivalent qualification, Or
- Mature learners (over 21) with management experience (learners must check with Admission Counsellors regarding this experience prior to registering for the programme)
- Learner must be 18 years or older at the beginning of the course

What is Level 3 qualification Equivalent to?
OTHM qualifications at RQF Level 4 represent practical knowledge, skills, capabilities and competences that are assessed in academic terms as being equivalent to Higher National Certificates (HNC) and Year 1 of a three-year UK Bachelor’s degree programme.
Is the Course Accredited?
The qualification is delivered by London School of Business and Research (LSBR) and it is awarded by OTHM, UK – an Awarding body by the UK Government’s regulator – OfQual (Office of the Qualifications and Examinations Regulation). All of the qualifications are listed on the OfQual register.
How is the Assessment done?
- The assessment is done via submission of assignment.
- There are no written exams.
University Progression
Successful completion of OTHM Level 4 Diploma in Tourism and Hospitality Management qualification will provide learners the opportunity for a wide range of academic progressions including OTHM Level 5 Diploma in Tourism and Hospitality Management. As this qualification is approved and regulated by Ofqual (Office of the Qualifications and Examinations Regulation), learners are eligible to gain direct entry into 2nd year of a three-year UK Bachelor’s degree programme.
